Biography:
Mason I was born in 1310 to King Dovin I and Keldria in Picketralia. His father, Dovin I, was a controversial figure and considered one of the worst monarchs in the kingdom's history. Despite this, Mason I was raised with love and care by his parents.
Mason I became the king of Picketralia in 1363 after his father's death. One of the first major events of his reign was the fire of Stimpton in October 1363. While the fire raged through the city, Mason I's response was criticized as being too slow. However, he worked tirelessly to rebuild the city and to prevent future disasters.
Another significant event that occurred during Mason I's reign was the 9-18 terrorist attacks on Stimpton. He responded quickly and effectively, apprehending the suspects and banishing them from the country. His response showed his commitment to the safety and security of his people, and earned him widespread respect and admiration.
Mason I was also the target of an assassination attempt in May 1371, when a sword impaled his back. However, he survived the attack after a long recovery, returning to his duties as king in August 1371, just in time for his birthday in November of that year.
He was also praised for taking advantage of the Picketralian Righteous Lands to gain more land for the country, and he overhauled the old regions governmental system in favor of a county system.
