Rosway

Not to be confused with Roxquay.

Rosway is a town in Bushley County, Picketralia.

History

It is not known exactly when Rosway was founded, but it was definitively pre-Zorthenian. The land was part of the Pik-Flourtess Empire, but maps recovered from the time period show that no roads went to Rosway, and it likely got its start as a fishing village that later grew into an agricultural town. During this time, the village was known as Bagne, pronounced "Bane."

Shortly after the conquest of the Carus II Pik Union by Zorthenia in 1078 BCE, Magnus F. Rosway, a Stimpton banker, escaped and fled to the small fishing village. Due to its remoteness, the Zorthenians never made it south of Portichoke, and remained mostly independent. However, paranoia of being conquered was ripe within the town, and the Rosway Minutemen were formed.
