History of Moria

The history of Moria began in around 12,000 BCE, when the first Dwarf tribes settled in Moria. In the 9,000s, the first humans arrived. The stone age for the humans and dwarves started and ended at different times. For the dwarves, the stone age began long before they migrated to Moria. It likely began between 16,000 BCE and 18,000 BCE. For the humans, it began in around 6,000 BCE.
