It is named for the Sullivan River, which runs near to the county. It does not have any towns or settlements, and it's population comes entirely from Outpost Island, a Picketralian military installation.
It, alongside every other county, was established in 1373 under the Counties Act. It's county seat is Stimpton, as there are no actual towns within the county.
