The latest Morian census says that 64,560 people live in the city. This makes it the second largest city in Moria by population, with [[Tradeland]] coming in first.

==Etymology==

The name Acrul comes from [[Markus Acrul Dorvinblade]], the first [[dwarf]] from the [[UKoD]] to find mainland Moria. He founded the city and named it after himself. He called it, "∇∞⦁⫯⌠∇⌠-⨳⋌⌠", meaning Acrul's City or the City of Acrul.
